Simon, it is a calculated figure derived from an affiliate’s commission divided by the number of clicks multiplied by 100. It is essentially a metric that online publishers like to look that gives them a quick idea of how profitable an ad might be if they run it on their site. They might have a pretty good sense of how many clicks they can generate from their website for a given ad, but not necessarily how many sales those clicks will generate. The EPC helps bridge that knowledge gap.

Great idea to focus basically on the functionality of the card. The designs and other stuff (color and more) are just to attract costumers or card users. But combining function and design is a good decision.Maybe all you need is a lot of convincing power that function plus great designs can attract more card users. Goodluck!

You’re welcome, Samuel. Affiliate Marketing as an industry is 1) growing, 2) hard to understand for people with no exposure to it, and 3) trying to shake off some of the shady practices it has become synonymous with. We’re trying to provide legitimate, best practices and information rather than the get-rich-quick-by-downloading-my-ebook approach that is still very pervasive on the Web. So I’m glad that this blog is helping with that.
